Some of these people include Andi Buerger and Brenda Yoho Author-Speaker. and the world is changing before our eyes. These are the conversation that focus on impact and making changes at the community level. In 2023, I started the Envision Speakers Series. They now help others overcome the same hurdles they did. Many people created a business model from their personal transformations. Birthed from COVID, people around the world were making specific and intentional changes – for many reasons, people wanted to heal and be aligned with their values. The Question Guy Podcast is a place where people can share stories of personal transformation. Now, I have four different types of conversations with people. In time, those conversations became a podcast. I have now had over 1,000 conversations in two years with some amazing people who have stories much worse than my own. My healing journey began with one conversation. Maybe today is the day to learn something new. You get diagnosed (and in some cases, improperly diagnosed). We often consider our bodies’ reaction to circumstances as a form of sickness, illness, or disease. We have not been taught to assess our emotions, our environment, or our spiritual presence when our bodies are telling us something. Often, however, our brain does not know how to carefully consider the clues. Our bodies can sense when something is wrong. But as I learned from both Sarah Cotterill and Carrie Allen, our bodies have a way of talking to us (our inner-most being). Being disconnected is a lonely, scary place. In truth, I was still disconnected with people. However, taking control of my life again after attempt number two took a lot of effort. I also survived a major heart attack in 2022 (October). I survived (by luck or purpose – depends on your perspective). I made two suicide attempts in ten years (2013, 2021). whether the “high five” is virtual or in-person, the act of connecting with people is so critical. Do you feel more engaged and productive when your team members barely speak to you or when they are consistently, and organically, giving you praise, encouragement, and support?
